Apparently there 'was' one in stock, but it disappeared! (some mixup in the parts room)
I ordered one as soon as it was discovered to be missing, and it should be here in a couple of days. Anyway, we shall need a couple more days for setup and testing...

Maar ze maken wél heel mooi spul, het wachten is niet altijd even leuk....maar wat maakt 't uit : een gitaar gaat minstens 50 jaar mee...tijd genoeg nog...
Kijk : je kunt natuurlijk ook vanmiddag een "lopendebanduitdezaagmolen gitaar" in de winkel gaan kopen ...waar je morgen al spijt van hebt...

wijze woorden!! Een paar dagen langer of korter maakt op die 14 weken niet heel veel meer uit, het gaat dr om dat het een mooi instrument is.

Het is heel simpel ... de bouwtijd die je verteld wordt moet je met een hele grote korrel zout nemen! Dat voorkomt teleurstellingen. Ik doe sinds mijn 1ste de "verwachte" bouwtijd maal 2 en dat klopt tot nu toe aardig. Verder heeft Paul volkomen gelijk hij is niet voor niks aan zijn 4e toe! ( wat me er aan herinnerd dat ik achter loop :P )

im sending the pickup back this evening, Im not under the impression that theyre as hot as my p90, whats the DC resistance of them? btw. i screwed the middle pickup way down because i only need it for the parallel settings and its in the way when i pick (used to playing les pauls).

I dont know the exact resistance, we just made them "hotter" than a normal strat (in keeping with the workorder requirement that they still sound strat-ish)
The first 'overwound' set we made was just WAY TOO QUIET by comparison, this second set keeps up about as well as can be expected...
In order to make them as hot as that (extremely hot) P90 you sent us - they would have to be monsterously overblown! (pretty much impossible to cram that much wire on a strat bobbin)
