Remember this is nothing like the way a 335 is built. 335s are laminated non solid maple. No mahogany except the neck. In fact the 336 has more in common with a chambered LP than a 335. I think the similar external characteristics confuse alot of people.
No firm choice of finish yet, I have a long long time to make the decision before they need to know.

USUALLY - the "wiring harness" is soldered together, and you tie fishing line to each of the pots and switches - fishing line that has PREVIOUSLY been threaded in the pot and switch holes - and pulled out again through a pickup cavity.
Then you FEED the whole harness into the guitar through the pickup holes, and 'FISH' the pots, jack, and switch out their holes with the fishing line, and then remove the line and attach them with the nuts.
but, IN THIS CASE, the wiring is simply done through a normal access panel in the back (a CS-336 innovation, which was also used for the ES-333, and many years earlier in the semi-hollow BluesHawk.. IIRC, even prior to that it was done in the LP signature hollowbody, too)
