What's the status at the moment? I heard that the expected shipping-date would be 23. november, but that's allready a week ago and I haven't heard any news yet.

Ik vraag het me ook af net als bij deze gitaar moet ook bij mij de hardware nog worden gemonteerd. Iets zegt me dat het nog wel even gaat duren voor we de gitaren hier hebben zeker als je bedenkt dat de shop volgende maand de hele maand dicht is! Dus als het niet heel snel gaat wordt het volgend jaar pas ben ik bang.

He Michael,
On another ductch forum, where I show the progress of Peter's guitar, they wonder (and now me also) why the holes for the tuners haven't been made before lacquering the headstock.
They think that the finish will be damaged when it's done after lacquering.

Well, we always do this way because we use good drills

Yes, and we also use GOOD LACQUER (the best nitro lacquer!)
...and, think about it - if you drill the holes BEFORE lacquering, then you get LACQUER in them, which kind of defeats the purpose of drilling precision holes...

Where are all the samhray-workers. I haven't read a reply from one of them in a few weeks. Is is x-mas holiday in Russia? Does anybody know something?

January is holliday season there and most are out to visit relatives and stuff.
Shop will be closed most of january because of it ( i am happy to get 1 week off ! 
lol).

Yes - the shop itself (and most of Russia) is closed til at least january 10th... Although a few workers may be there in the second half of January, the full workforce isnt back from holidays until February

Yes, I have noticed. A pity for me but I can imagine that the people at Shamray are happy to have some time off, away from the impatient,gimme gimme customers like me. Sorry ,I can't help it.

I've seen the latest pics in Peter's email. The ones where the emg'sand the locking nuts are installed. They look great.
It's not my guitar, but I can't wait to see this BEAST in real!!!!!!
Please also post the pics here, so I can look at them more often?

I am told that its ready for final inspection TODAY. (I'll be on my way to the shop shortly)

I hope so. If she plays like she looks, ohh man!! I had an image off my dreamguitar in my head but Shamray has definitly improved it to the max and realised it.

I received my Beast today and I must say I am totaly blown away by this beauty.
The sound is Monstrous. She looks amaizing. And the feel is perfect, nice and fast.
I would like to thanks Michael, Sataev, Dima and everybody involved in this project.
An outstanding job done!!!
I'll try to post some pictures soon, but I must play some more now.

very nice guitar, always been a fan of the beast body shape. if your going to get an extreme looking metal axe might aswell get a damn nice one
