Sadly I dont have an amp due to a ebay mix up...so It will be a lil while before I can actually comment on the sound.

you could take it down to some music shops, and use it to test-drive some nice amps! (I always bring my own guitar when i'm shopping for amps...)

Just got an amp ordered...
1.5-2 weeks and the shamray will enter the "being played all the time" territory.
