Actually this cocobolo is a crazy wood. It needs to be tested for a long time. We want to be sure that neck will be good forever. The guitar will be shipped in a few days. | |

We never used a cocobolo before and we had problems with it. First neck for this guitar is still at the shop. | |

its possible... We generally make 3-piece rosewood or cocobolo necks. In order to make a one-piece quartersawn neck we need a board that happens to be about 4 inches THICK , as well as being perfectly quartersawn in the right orientation. Not easy to find in those woods! Price for the wood alone would be around $600-$800... |

well, it costs quite a bit less if we make a 3-piece neck - and as a bonus, the neck will be stronger, stiffer, and more stable plus the guitar will have more sustain... | |
