STATUS UPDATE: Maxim was working on inlays today, but he had the 'do not disturb' sign up, so i didint get any pics. Stepanov figures it will be about another 2 weeks before CS-1954 is ready for completing. Estimated Shipping date: February 3rd |

yes, the neck has some VERY nice, very fine flame all the way through it. The figure moves a bit if you tilt the neck!

Yeah, I have played through a few old gibson amps. One of them was really old, maybe the 60's or early 70's. Not quite that old though!I find even teh "beat up" appearance of the amp gives it character, so if the tone is incredable as well, I would say you have a pretty nice amp there. | |

The problem right now is that there is no-one here to COMPLETE the guitars  Our completing guy (who was badly injured in a fall last month) is back at home nursing his sore back again, and Stepanov (who usually covers for him) has been off sick himself the past couple of days. I'm hoping at least one of them will be back at work THURSDAY ( after the holiday)... |
