hehe that thing is tiny! the martin millionth design is quite impressive, but that thing probably costs a million dollars!!

Tomorrow inlays will be finished. After Victory Holidays I'll start painting. And after next 2 weeks guitar must be ready to go.

nice nice nice nice Im a little worried the inlays will drop out when Im playing....I dont mind if they are fender dots... but these inlays are too nice to lose!

Don't worry. Abalone pieces are glued inside. If you want I can install frets 2.8 mm - it's higher than standart gibson or fender frets. What fret size do you you prefer? In custom order is not noticed fret size.

hmm good question.. what fret size...hadnt really thought about it, but Im used to playing on my '64 fender jaguar (not sure what they used...). what are the fret size for PRS, Gibsons and Fenders? I can make a decision on that... thanks

PRS uses "medium jumbo", as do most modern Gibson and Fender guitars. OLD fenders (like your 64 jaguar) used a thinner "vintage" fretwire.

flames are a lot more noticeable now
is there a difference between "violin amber" and "amber"?? or is it just the way prs named it?

i thought you wanted a burst as a finish, or am i mistaken?

Hi Orpheo, yes i think the final colour will be Violin Amber Burst....presumably this is a base colour so there are couple more steps before the final colour. Im leaving Sushkov with the small details about colour as he knows best, and he knows what i want.
