Lastest pictures that Michael sent me. Look at the lovely black hardware that fits this bass wonderful and melts into the splated maple. LOVELY!! I really hope that Shamray has a black bridge in the shop so that this bass can look even better. |

Woow. Now there's not much left to do. I told Michael that I'd like a picture of the bass finalized in the hardcase right before shipping. A picture like that would really make this Topic a wonderful punchline. Also can't wait until the wooden knobs are inplace. That would really make a final "PIFF" of the bass. I've also told Michael some of my plans for the ME-0002. I really LOVE the way we guys have built this bass. And I say it again, if it only sounds half as good as it looks then I'm happy. Maybe that's way I've already (without even ever tried my ME-0001) decided to build the ME-0002. Only think I'd like you guys to to is to plan the ordering of ALL the parts for an instrument so there won't be as much delays.. Instead of having a build time of 8-12 weeks (like on the ME-0001) why not say 4-5 months... BUT STILL I REALLY LOVE YOUR WORK! And like we say in swedish. I live in the south of Sweden. I Mario is going to gig in the Middle area of Sweden I'm I right? Round Stockholm somewhere right?? Maybe he can meet a friend of mine somewhere in Stockholm and then my friend can send me the bass.. Yep I thought so to. Until I got Michaels email yesterday. A new knobs set is made + Aleksandr have found a hardcase foam yet?? HOW MUCH LONGER DO I HAVE TO WAIT??? Aleksandr: you still told me that the bass would be finished in the end of December. That's a 4 month ago??? |
