Congratulations Goran, on the birth of your THIRD new Shamray Custom Shop instrument (serial number CS 1980)! We will post pictures of it's construction-in-progress from time to time here in this thread. For the curious, here are the specs on CS 1980: 7-string Sushkov ORPHAN with futuristic styling (the guitar formerly known as CS-0100) Maple/mahogany 5-piece set neck. Russian Swamp Ash Body Rosewood fretboard with elaborate "tribal" inlays 7-string Floyd, all black schaller hardware. Custom wound Duncan Custom Shop 7-string humbuckers (hand-made by Seymour himself!) Special "faux-rosewood" art finish under nitro lacquer (Entire guitar painted to match fretboard!) |

He is really a gifted master of masters in guitar craftmanship. And all of your 3 guitars look so great. this guitar is so organic and it feels incredibly good to play....very ergonomic...there is something special about the neck...it feels so alive...hard to explain that...it's one of those "impossible-to-explain" feelings ... this is definitely one of the best 7 stringers in the world .... all ratings: 10 and the oscar goes to: dmitri sushkov (performance) michael walker (stunts) aleksander stepanov (producer assistant) aleksandr shamray (producer) they made this guitar possible

Nice! How does those "gearless" tuners work? I'd guess you'd gave to be a bodybuilder to be able to turn them, but I sort of trust that Iæm wrong about that.

how they "work" is a bit deceiving the string doesnt ROTATE around the post, rather you pull it though taut, and CLAMP it into the post with the top knob (which locks it into place). Then you just tighten the bottom knob, which draws the string DOWN into the headstock, creating more tension on the string and tightening it to pitch. |

i was playing my 7stringer and i just wanted to drop a comment:   handmade guitar does have soul! this 7stringer is totaly incredible! it has more comfortable neck that many 6stringers i have played....effortless to play.... btw it looks much better in person ....i hope that you are reading this mr sushkov.... thank you
