well, as your crafter hasnt yet been assigned, a plan doesnt yet exist! (he will make one specifically for your guitar).

I believe your crafter will either be Sushkov, or Sataev... we should know about that on Monday!

Hey Lucian, I mostly try to play progressive/aggressive/avant kind of metal, or whatever you would like to call it. I am currently in 2 bands and both are now just starting to come together well. I pretty much try to write things that I would say "ok, well, I haven't heard that before" and incorporate it with modern stylings of metal. I currently have 2 Ibanez 7 string guitars, but with using various tuning changes in the music I write, I have craved an 8 string for quite a while. Take it easy!

Hey guys check out garageband.com, the band on there is called a day in february, there are a couple of songs we recorded about two years ago. the song "tarantula" and "technicolor dreamcoat" are more like what I play nowadays, but a little less technical.

Sataev has already chosen some wood, and i brought him some engineering drawings for the hipshot bridge on Friday. Monday is a holiday, so i expect he will be getting underway on Tuesday.

Status update... Sataev's work is coming along NICELY, right now it looks like this guitar will be ready for completing in about 2 weeks .

Tenative shipping date: SEPTEMBER 30th

thats indeed Alex's maple fretboard... not the one that will be used on THIS guitar!

Stepanov (or his sister, who i think he has recruited to post pics for him) didint realize that was the WRONG photo (taken a week ago, with the wrong fretboard sitting on it)

Probably in a day or two he (or she) will get around to posting a pic with the REAL fretboard

STATUS REPORT: all thats left to do is the 24th fret inlay engraving. Then we can STRING IT UP!
