For the curious, here are the specs on CS 0048: Detailed specification of Guitar: CS-0048 ‘KILLING-V’ Neck-through “V” in BCRich style. UPDATE: (07/13) body to be smaller "Jackson King V" style Neck: Maple. No Inlays on fretboard, red fiber-optic side dot markers, ebony truss rod cover with red inlay Fingerboard: Ebony Construction: Neck-thru Colour: Black with BLOODY-Red Bevels etc. the same as on picture (front, back and headstock) Scale: 25.5'', 24 jumbo frets Tuners: Gotoh Nut: Schaller Locking Nut (black) Bridge: original Floyd Rose (black) Pick-Up: EMG 81 Electronic: one metallic tone knob (black), 100% Body Shielding, double battery box Other: Straplocks (black), D'addario Strings .009-.046 Notes: Pearl S in shamray style (instead of R) on the headstock, ‘Shamray Custom Shop’ logo on the back of the headstock, and the serial number carved in the fingerboard after the 24th fret. SKB or “Gator-PE” rectangular flight case.

Êàê êëàññíî è âåñåëî!!!!! ß æäó óæå ñ íà÷àëà ìàÿ êîãäà åå õîòÿáû íà÷íóò äåëàòü..... Îáåùàííà îíà áûëà ê êîíöó èþëÿ, åñëè ÿ íå îøèáàþñü.... (Ñàòàåâ?) íèêàê íå ìîæåò äîäåëàòü 3 ãèòàðû êîòîðûå äîëæåí áûë çàêîí÷èòü åùå â ìàå, â äðóãîì òîïèêå îí óæå ïðÿì ñåé÷àñ ãîòîâ âçÿòüñÿ çà äðóãóþ ãèòàðó (Icefly). Êòîíèáóäü ìîæåò ñêàçàòü, à ïîòîì åùå è ñäåëàòü ÷òî òî êîíêðåòíîå, áåç âñÿêèõ "íà ñëåäóþùåé íåäåëå è òä." ? | |

your guitar is still awaiting completion... according to Mr. Stepanov it should be ready to ship "sometime in January" (he hasn't given me a more specific date). I am fairly sure that there wont be any news for at least a couple of weeks... since pretty much everyone has left for their holidays already. This one will be used for low sick fast riffs on one hand and for downtuned doomy dying riffs on the other, and of corse some solos. And also for some blues, but only when I'm alone and please dont tell it anyone

So are you happy with your guitar? What neck profile have you chosen? Is the Emg 81 for your sonic needs? is the balance right? How does a V feel, is it easy to adapt from a regular guitar shape to this? |

Yeah I'm quite happy.... It has neck profile similar to Ibanez RG, because I had one and was used to it. EMG is OK but i can imagine that I will try something other some day. And balance of the guitar is simply great..... As you can see the body starts at 21th fret. I have always played Jackson RR and it was easy for me, but everyone else said to me that it was comfortabler to play my KillingV than other guitar with regular form. All in one: Mighty Guitar and great work of Dmitrij Sushkov.... | |

Hey Angel, welcome to the forum. This forum is for customers of Shamray and other fans of their work to be able to discuss the fine points of the guitars currently being made. If you don't like that, thats fine, but this forum is not designed for people to viciously criticise other people's guitars. If you are unsure that Shamray can make high quality gear, you are welcome to come to my house and play my LP Jr they made a year ago. If you want to be convinced of the quality, ask anyone who has had a guitar made here. Other than that, we don't appreciate your attitude. | |

I thought King used B.C.Rich before he used ESP and then returned to BCRich. But I don't know if he used the V before he was endorsed by ESP. by the way, nice guitar..  greets from Germany |
