Congratulations Andreas, on the birth of your new Shamray Custom Shop guitar (serial number CS 0033)! We will post pictures of it's construction-in-progress from time to time here in this thread For the curious, here are the specs on CS 0033: Detailed specification of Guitar: CS-0033 ‘TANGERINE BURST”
Set neck “LP-Std” style, carved top with 22 frets. Standard Shamray headstock logo. TANGERINE-BURST top finish. (Maple neck to be dyed to match the body as closely as possible.)
Body: Mahogany body with AAA carved maple top. Neck: Maple neck. “1960-slim-taper” neck profile. Binding: single layer cream body binding, single layer cream fretboard binding Hardware: Chrome Tune-o-matic bridge & tailpiece, ‘Vintage’ gotoh Kluson machine heads (plastic buttons), polymer nut, Electronics: Usual LP custom controls; 3-way toggle switch (USA), two volume, two tone. 100% cavity shielding. Knobs: 4 amber “gibson-hat’ knobs Pickups: 2 Chernishev PAFs: BB-2 neck, BB-3 bridge, Chrome covers Case: molded flight case. Strings: Ernie Ball .010-46 |
