Shamray has decided to make a "shop" KL-explorer in our most popular configuration:
Neck-thru of African mahogany with large bubinga center stripe
African mahogany body wings
Bubinga top, headstock facing & control cavity cover
Rosewood fretboard
And the REST of the specs??
well, that depends... if you (or someone you know) is in the market for one of these - ACT NOW and it could be built exactly to YOUR spec (inlays, hardware, pickups, etc)
Else, it will probably end up with "the usual" (black sperzels, black tuneomatic, pair of EMG humbuckers, oil-wax finish, etc) and we'll be selling it on Ebay in a month or two.
Either way, SOMEONE will get a SMOKIN DEAL on it (it is of course, an ORPHAN!)
if yer INTERESTED - send an email RIGHT AWAY to KL-ORPHAN@TheGuitarCustomShop.com !
here are some pics of "the story so far"...

here are the latest pics, its really coming along nicely!
Its got the fiber-optics installed now, and fretboard radius will be done tommorrow...
If no-one steps up in the next few days and claims this baby, we will go ahead and do 'sun-ray" inlays, and put it up on ebay to the highest bidder.
We will leave the headstock plain for now (the eventual owner can tell us what they would like to have inlayed there!)
