No idea! Last week i enquired, and Shamray said they were still debating on the best way to execute it.
The vast majority of artwork is done at our artists home... Anya happens to be married to Valodya, who is the manager of the repair shop here, and he has some special road cases that were made for transporting the 'artwork' back and forth. So I usually dont get to see the artwork until its finished!
Incidently - as i look out my window here, i can see their building in the distance. (the shop is in the east of town, and we live about an hour away, in the south...) If you look at the picture, your pinstriping work is going on 'just over there', across the street from the new church thats being built...

Cool shell be ok i seen much more complicated artworks done by her which looked insanely good!.

Watched something about building design in Moscow. Everything was built to glorify, without being made open to interpretation. Pretty interesting stuff.

In the thumbnail picture that "Shamray" logo looks so much like the fender one. The S is what I think throws me off the most. I am guessing that was more work done by the very talented Shamray artist?

Its hand-painted, yes! She is very good at visually "punning" various well-known logos with the Shamray name

yup ding is met die juffrouw van de kunst mee naar huis. Al een tijdje overigens .. ik wacht op de eerste fotos van de pinstriping.
Volgens mij zijn mijn kinmans er ook nog niet.

I dont know the details.. but i suspect that the body art (PINSTRIPING) is taking longer than expected (since i havent seen the body back in the shop!)
its very challenging to do that sort of thing and stay in the parameters of "thin nitro finish"...

Very nice !! I know you will but how are you gonna turn it black again ? Looks kinda grey at the moment and i dont expect it to get another layer now the pinstriping is on.

It looks grey because the body is sanded before the art work. After finish layer it will be black enough.

Once we have the pickups, figure on another week for completing, setups and inspection, packing, and shipping...

well, we got "some" kinmans today - a box with a couple of neck pickups! Another box with bridge pickups is also on the way (expected 'any day now'...)

Unfortunately (for reasons unknown) our completing guy Dima was NOT at the shop today - so there was NOTHING going on near the completion bench. I was disappointed to find that I had made the two and half hour commute to the shop (in sub-zero temperatures) pretty much 'for NOTHING' today! Dima is my english-speaking laison at the shop, now that Shamray and Stepanov are both gone...
Anyway, i shall be going there again TOMMORROW - (or possibly Friday - im going to call in advance this time) and will get updates for EVERYONE then!
