properly speaking, its a "Dragon Buzzard".. the blueprint is based on some tweaks i did to a pencil sketch for Roger Smith's Custom Alembic (which was a John Entwistle tribute Buzzard-Variant). I was helping Roger with blueprinting the neck profile, and he later asked for some input in making the body look more curvaceous. Alembic later took credit for the 'original design' when they made Roger's bass (this was long before the Shamray Bass Custom Shop was in existence) but i can assure you that the body design was Roger's idea! (Alembic did design the headstock for his bass, however i like my own headstock design a lot more...  ) Roger's ORIGINAL pencil sketch, and my first "blueprint" are shown below! Well, the exact price would depend on all the details, we make these basses in all different flavors (neck-thru, set-neck, bolt-neck) and the choice of woods, finishes, hardware, pickups, electronics is virtually limitless. Anyway, phone service here in Russia is rather primitive, its probably more effective to communicate via email.
