here are the specs: Scaled-down 'replica' of 1957 Futura (this guitar actually never existed in real-life, only in patent drawings!) Short scale (same as Rickenbacker 325) One-piece Korina body, 3-piece Korina set-neck with long neck tenon. "BIG & FAT" 1957 neck profile. Unbound Ziricote fretboard with Baltic Amber dot-inlays and Faceted Mexican Fire Opal side dots. REVERSE headstock. Metallic orange finish on entire guitar (including matching headstock). No pickguard. White knobs and pickup rings. Nickel Grover super-rotomatics with Imperial buttons, Nickle Tonepros locking Tune-o-matic and Nickle Tonepros locking tailpiece, Chernishev "PAF"s with white bobbins. Neutrik locking jack, Schaller strap-locks |

Ziricote feels like a tight-grained rosewood (almost as smooth as ebony) but sounds like rosewood. It has subtle stripes that remind me of Maccassar ebony. We don't ever get much ziricote in, but we had a small piece left over from building Luke Price's "Creation" strat, and it was just long enough for this little short scale guitar... | |

Ziricote is very nice to play, and sounds great too. Also looks nice. Very smooth feeling, and a nice grain to it. Overall, a fantastic wood. I'll have to keep an eye on this, its quite similar to an idea i had a while back for a shamray... | |

The cool thing about this guitar is that it is based on a blue print. Adds a lot of style - like building a star wars x-wing that was never released or something ... hmm I think I should add a phrase like: don't take this too serious ... michael walker rocks! | |

Èíòåðåñ ïðîñíóëñÿ. ß çíàþ, ÷òî ãîëîâà ãðèôà â ñðåäíåì êàê ïðàâèëî ïðîãíóòà íà 15 ãðàäóñîâ. Êàê ýòî äåëàåòñÿ ÿ òîæå îçíàêîìèëñÿ .. ìíå âàæíî çíàòá, êàê óæå êîíêðåòíî èç ïðÿìîóãîëüíîé çàãíóòîé ÷àñòè ãèòàðû äåëàåòñÿ ôîðìà ãîëîâû ãðèôà? |

This guitar is going to be metallic "Hot Rod Orange" when its done - its all about the SPARKLE The only concessions i made to mother nature were the Ziricote fretboard, the Baltic Amber dot inlays, and the Mexican Fire Opal side dots... |
