Congratulations John, on the birth of your new Shamray Custom Shop guitar (Serial number CS 0014)!

We will post pictures of it's construction-in-progress from time to time here in this thread.

For the curious, here are the specs on CS 0014:

Detailed specification of Guitar:   CS-0014   “GECKO-BURST”

LP standard dimensions  - finish color on Body Top “GECKO” Lime Green / Yellow burst,
Body Back, Side Of Body, Back of Neck & Headstock to be dark green transparent finish.

Body: Brazilian mahogany. (extra heavy weight)

Neck: 3-piece mahogany, with “1960 slim taper” profile. XXXL extra-large Long neck tenon. 

Top wood: AAA maple top 

Fretboard: rosewood with mother-of-pearl dot inlays, silver dot side markers, mammoth-bone nut, ‘6100’ fretwire.

Binding: cream binding- single layer on fretboard and headstock, triple-layer on front of body.

Hardware: chrome gotoh tune-o-matic bridge & tailpiece, chrome gotoh ‘schaller button’ machine heads. Chrome strap buttons. Cream plastic pickup rings, cream rectangular jackplate, cream toggle washer, black plastic control cavity covers, and no "LP" pickguard.

Electronics: usual LP standard wiring; toggle switch, 2 volume, 2 tone. Partsland large pots, Dimarzio toggle, Partsland jack, 100% cavity shielding

Knobs: 4 "gibson hat  knobs" (plastic, gold color)

Pickups: Chernichev custom wound replica “PAF”, chrome covers.

Case: molded plastic flight case.

Strings: D’Addario roundwound  .010 - .046

Notes: headstock "Shamray" logo artwork to be determined, with “Ever-Loving” dedication  in cyrillic script.

LP standard dimensions  - finish color on Body Top “Cherry sunburst” ( like LP AceFrehley),
Body Back, Side Of Body, Back of Neck & Headstock to be transparent cherry finish.

Body: AFRICAN mahogany. (light weight)

Neck: 3-piece mahogany, with “1960 slim taper” profile. XXXL extra-large Long neck tenon. 

Top wood: AAA maple top 

Fretboard: EBONY with mother-of-pearl dot inlays, silver dot side markers, mammoth-bone nut, ‘6100’ fretwire.

Binding: single layer cream binding on fretboard, 7-layer on headstock & front of body.

Hardware: chrome gotoh tune-o-matic bridge & tailpiece, chrome gotoh ‘schaller button’ machine heads. Chrome Dunlop strap locks. Cream plastic pickup rings, cream rectangular jackplate, cream toggle washer, black plastic control cavity covers, and no "LP" pickguard.

Electronics: custom wiring; toggle switch, 3 volume, 1 tone. Partsland large pots, Dimarzio toggle, Partsland jack, 100% cavity shielding, pull-pots for coil tap on all 3 pickups, plus middle pickup polarity.
Knobs: 4 "gibson hat  knobs" (plastic, gold color)

Pickups: THREE Chernichev custom wound replica “PAF”, cream bobbins.

Case: molded plastic flight case.

Strings: D’Addario roundwound  .010 - .046
