Congratulations Philipp, on the birth of your new Shamray Custom Shop guitar (Serial number CS 0002)!
We will post pictures of it's construction-in-progress from time to time here in this thread.
For the curious, here are the specs on CS 0002:
Detailed specification of Guitar:
LEFT-HAND Set neck “ESP-Viper” style BARITONE – 27 inch scale length.
Finish color on Body, Neck & Headstock to be opaque Brazil Green. (entire guitar is Brazil Green)
Body & neck: ALDER body, MAPLE neck
Fretboard: EBONY (no fret markers) - but with side dot markers. 24 jumbo frets
Binding: single-layer black binding around fretboard.
Hardware: black Gotoh tune-o-matic bridge, ferrules in back of body (string-thru-body), black Gotoh machine heads. Black strap buttons. NO pickup ring, hardware for direct PU mounting, black metal jack-plate (side of body), no pickguard.
Electronics: pre-wired for one EMG-81 with single volume control, with single 9V battery. 100% cavity shielding
Knobs: 1 black metal knob
Pickups: CUSTOMER WILL INSTALL EMG-81 ON RECEIPT (we will pre-wire and test) - PU will be mounted directly on body.
Case: molded plastic flight case, "Stagg"
Strings: D’Addario roundwound .013 – 056 tuned to B-E-A-D-F#-B
Special: Pearl cartouche inlay at 12th fret, engraved with “CAVALERA”.
Notes: "Baritone" headstock logo will be in Morpheus font, along with the engraving on 12th fret cartouche inlay.

Progress report... the wood for neck and fretboard has already been selected, and both have begun to be roughed out. The alder for the body was being selected today, i didnt get any pictures of it though.

Today's update - the story so far...
The body has been roughed out, the neck has been roughed out, and the fretboard has been roughed out. They have all been acclimatizing a few days to allow the wood to stabilize more before carving continues (carving is always a rather slow process around here, since gradual carving results in the best dimensional stability)

...some more carving on neck and body, and now the truss rod has been installed, and the fretboard has been slotted, bound, (hard to see in this pic because its black binding), and installed on the neck...

TODAY, neck carving has progressed to very close to the final contour, the neck is rough, but already feels excellent!

а чем плох цвет? в смысле, что он зеленый? так это "фирменный" цвет м.кавалеры.
или то, что он ТАКОЙ зеленый? тогда может еще рано судить о цвете, пока не покрыли полностью лаком и т.п.

The Guitar is fuc*in awesome! It looks so cool and the sound is so amazing! The feeling is sooo great, unimaginable!

Very very cool! I'm glad you like it, I was knocked out by it myself Inspired by this guitar, I'm working on the design of my own personal 'contra-baritone' which i hope to get construction started on very soon...
Actually, I just checked the spec... unlike some other EMG models, the 81 has its magnet in the center, so it should sound the same either way you put it in! If you want to read the logo when the guitar is sitting in the stand, its fine the way you put it in. (The logo on an 81 is only an issue of you have a more than one of them in a guitar...)
