45000 ðóá! Êîììåíòàðèè "ïàïû" Distressora Dave Darr'a : The Lil FrEQ has measurable performance beyond most test equipment, and even beyond the current analog to digital converters... AS LONG AS YOU DON'T USE THE CLASS A TRANSFORMER OUTPUT, NOR THE DYNAMIC SECTION! . Of course these are some of the most complex and expensive "sections" of the FrEQ, so we put them in there for the very purpose of COLOR and SOFTENING. The Dynamic Section (called the DS section on the Lil FrEQ Front panel) could probably be a whole product in and of itself, and I'm quite sure many companies have made products out of less substantial processors. This is a high frequency treatment section that has two modes: a high performance De-esser, and a unique HF limiter. The Class A Transormer circuit on the other hand mainly affects the Low Frequencies, much like vintage-no-names-mentioned inductor-based gear-of-the-past. It also does saturate nicely on the top end when really hot full bandwidth signals are screaming through it. (It can put out a 90 Volt Swing.. but we limit it to protect small children and .. the next peice of gear in the signal chain) Îòçûâû ïîëüçîâàòåëåé: “Hey Dave… so I got the box, plugged it in on an Etta James vocal that I was having problems with… and it $#$%^&* rocks. This is a great box, my friend. I can see anybody with a DAW wanting to use this thing. I am using the shelving, DS’ing and transformer out, and I am just thrilled...” - Ed Cherney (Lenny Kravitz, Dave Mathews, Eric Clapton, The Wallflowers, Goo Goo Dolls, Jackson Brown, Bonnie Raitt, Stones, etc.) Tone...hmmm...nothing too coloured as of now. Rather clean I would say. I am amazed how much difference it makes twisting the Q-knobs on the bell-filters. Much more than on for example ISA215 and Millenia NSEQ2. Even more than on my MP. Eventough it certainly makes a big difference on the MP. That's cool. More cool features to come I am sure - barforama Gear addict In actual use the Lil FrEQ is intuitive and well laid out - I for one an amazed that Dave was able to get so many features into a single rack - GilWave |
