MESA: File format for the Akai S3000, separate files for the programs (.s3p) and the samples.

NI Reaktor: File format with the extension .map, one file is a program and contain all the samples encoded in float 32 bits.

Tascam GigaSampler / GigaStudio: File format with the extension .gig, one file is a bank and contains all the programs and the samples.

3. Mixed formats:
Some hardware samplers use a file system that is very close to the DOS file system but not close enough to be fully compatible. Actually if you try to read one of this disks on your PC with the standard Windows Explorer you won't see any files. Moreover it may freeze or crash your system*. This problem happens with the early versions of the Kurzweil systems and with some MPC disks. However this problem doesn't exist on the Mac where these disks are mounted as standard DOS disks.
Kurzweil: Mixed format, one single file for a bank which includes all its programs and samples.
Akai MPC: Mixed format, separate files for the program and the samples. Samples can be saved as standard .wav files or .snd files.

Если Вы хотете использовать "семплы EMU" ( на CDROM) d коvпьютерном семплере то Вы должны переконвертировать их в нужный Вам вид.
Например в формат NI Kontakt
При этом мjгут быть некие "потери", но все это терпят или используют "железяку"..

попонятней - мне надо знать,
имея внешний scsi cd-rom подключенный к семплеру EMU -и внутренний scsi HDD установленный в семплер. можно ли копировать семплы с cd-болванки на жесткий диск сразу, минуя их загрузки в RAM память семплера.
О прогах и компе - я знаю, поэтому в данном вопросе исключаю их.

Коли вы "знаете" , то наверно уже осознали фразу написаную разработчиками CDXtract.

Т.е если вы возмете CD-EMU и попытаетесь его прочитать в CD-ROMе компа (внутрений или внешний - не важно), гдавное - определяемого ОС компьютера) - то там ничено не увидите ( без "спец" программы, про которые Вам мзвесно) .
SCSI СD- ROM EMU сеплера преднозначен для работы только с ОС EMU. и "проброс" инфоримацию на комп минуя память EMU навряд ли получится.
И вопрос , а зачем это Вам ?

Т.е если вы возмете CD-EMU и попытаетесь его прочитать в CD-ROMе компа (внутрений или внешний - не важно), гдавное - определяемого ОС компьютера) - то там ничено не увидите ( без "спец" программы, про которые Вам мзвесно) .

Да.... и если Вы решите подсоединить к EMU (шлейфом) SCSI-СDrom и SCSI-HDD то передача информации все-равно пойдет под управдением OC EMU ( тут просто посмотрите инструкцию на свой семплер) есть ли тамвозможнсть.копирования информации ( скорее всего - нет).

Нет.
У E-mu OS функция "Backup" есть, но с жёсткого диска - на другой ЖД или МО,
а с CD - только грузить в память и сохранять на ЖД или МО.

Нет.
