There is rare active basss in 1984 in Japan. There was only Spector Japan in active bass manufacture. In such situation, TUNE started to produce active bass like TB series. TB series is very simple. They have 2 JB type pick up, and used soft maple for body. But thier special point was thier quality of "active circuit". They invited specialist for another business field to musical instruments, and established special active circuit which was not produced in another manufacture. And they are always taking care about "How body can sing". So they are taking care about shape of head, body and neck it self more serious than thier competitors. And thier special sales point is "laminated body". They are always using this method. They are using hard materials on the top like "Paduk", and using soft material like mahogany on the back. In that case, TUNE's bass can make storong, but warm sound. Actually owner of TUNE is very effected old GIBSON bass, like EB-3. So TUNE's bass has some atmosphere of old GIBSON bass. But of course, now they are onr of the most famous Japanese custom manufacture of Bass guitars. Tanaka 8-916-659-2837 I am very sorry in English. |
