Mr. Tanaka, I hope to get your assistance in choosing and purchasing an active 5 string bass. The price is up to 1000 USD. Can you please give me some advice on choosing the brand and model. The bass should have a variety of sounds, and it must be suitable for either blues of heavy metal or death metal performance. Thank you! |

If price is up to 1000usd. I recommend you to loook for some bases from Ibanez. They have very good cost performance. And they have very strong neck. Now ther are produced in Korea, but I think quality is better than others. Thier neck is thin, if it is Ok for you, thier sounds are very bright and strong. You don't lose your sound in ansamble. If up to 1500usd, I recommend you to add TUNE for your choice. They are 100% made in Japan. Both of them are active. Tanaka 89166592837 |

Ibanez has moved their manufacturing facilities to Indonezia, if I don't mistake... Mr. Tanaka, Tune is an interesting brand; can you suggest me something of these? The price up to 1500 USD is OK. |

I found out SR3005 (with Ibanez Pick up) This is so called last Japanese Ibanez bass. Very good bass. This model was the top model in the beggining of 2000'S. Usually price is 900-1100usd in Moscow. tanaka 89166592837 |
